Scottish single malt from Jackton Distillery.
The family-run Lowland distillery near Glasgow has launched RAER Single Malt Scotch Whisky: The Inaugural Release, marking a major milestone more than six years after laying down its first casks in 2020.
Only 6,000 individually hand-numbered bottles are being released
The whisky has been matured in a mix of Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso casks, bringing notes of fruitcake, fig and sultana on the nose, followed by dark fruits, treacle and roasted nuts, with toffee, sweet spice and soft oak on the finish.
